Cheryl Ladd – Born in 1951
Did you know that Cheryl Ladd almost didn’t become part of the original TV series Charlie’s Angels? It was the show that turned her into a big star, but Ladd first turned down the offer to star in it. The reason is understandable, as Farrah Fawcett left the show to become a big movie star, and she left a void that Ladd felt she couldn’t fill. But since producer Aaron Spelling really wanted Ladd, they came up with a great solution.
Instead of replacing Fawcett on the show, she was cast as a new character, rookie Kris, who’s the baby sister of Fawcett’s character, Jill. And the rest, as they say, is history. The face many Charlie’s Angels fans have come to love has remained the same, as gorgeous as ever, even though Ladd is a few years shy of 70.
