We didn’t realize that Regis Philbin was such a great investor, that he was worth $150 million at the time of his passing in July 2020. This despite the fact that the Live! and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? host actively retired from his media career in 2010!
If we believe Guinness Book of World Records, then Regis has had the longest hosting hours on TV, ever! At his peak, he took home $20 million each year and invested in properties, but stayed humble as ever and did a lot for charity, too.
