Richard Simmons: ~ $15 Million
Talk about having to sweat to earn their money! Richard Simmons certainly did for many decades, as he jumped around on his instructional fitness home videos Sweatin’ to the Oldies and encouraged people to lose weight and egged them on like a personal trainer would at the gym.
The fitness guru with a jumpy personality and bright eccentric clothes, soon became a huge hit. Simmons turned entrepreneur when he started Slimmons Studios in Los Angeles and instructed his students there. Unfortunately, following an injury in 2014, Richard abruptly quit everything and doesn’t even come out of his $5.2 million California home now!
