Judy Finnigan – Born in 1948
As one half of the legendary presenting duo “Richard and Judy,” Judy Finnigan helped redefine daytime television. With her husband Richard Madeley, she hosted This Morning from 1988 to 2001, setting the standard for magazine-style TV with a blend of empathy, humor, and intelligence.
Her television career also paved the way for her as a bestselling author—her debut novel, Eloise, topped charts in 2012. Though she has stepped back from regular broadcasting, Judy’s warm presence and pioneering work in British TV continue to be fondly remembered.
