Lorraine Bayly – Born in 1937
Lorraine Bayly spent her childhood in New South Wales and then moved to Sydney in the 1950s to work in theatre and radio. The actress, singer, presenter and dancer made her TV debut on The Bobby Limb Show and in 1966, she became a presenter on Play School.
But she would become best known for playing the character of the wartime matriarch Grace on the TV show, The Sullivans. She went on to star in Neighbours and Carson’s Law and continued to act but her health problems have been slowing her down recently.
