In the 60s, French actress and fashion icon Brigitte Bardot walked into everyone’s heart with her perfectly tousled hair and her trademark smile that lit up the whole room. But she actually began her career in the 50s, when she started modeling at 15.
She acted in her first French movie, 1952’s Le Trou Normand and the next year, she was touring to promote her first Hollywood movie, Act of Love and later, her breakthrough movie And God Created Woman. She retired in 1975 and moved to St. Tropez, after which she became an animal activist. Now 85, Bardot keeps a low profile and looks as graceful as ever.
