Actress Marcia Cross became a household name after she was cast as the perfect wife, Bree Van de Kamp on the TV show, Desperate Housewives. But she has been acting since the 1990s on television, and finds her name in the credits of plenty of popular shows.

Knots Landing, One Life to Live, The Edge of Knight and Melrose Place are some of these shows. After she played a meaty role on the show Quantico, Maria seemed to have disappeared, and she recently said that she had cancer and was recovering from it.
