Ed Sheeran: Quit Smoking and Started Running

Ed Sheeran is ruling the charts lately and while all the fame and recognition was great for the singer-songwriter, his unhealthy lifestyle caught up with him. After years of smoking and gaining weight while on tour, Ed decided to get healthier and dropped 50 lbs.

He revealed on a podcast interview that he had quit smoking, and took to running to “clear out his lungs.” He said that when he started out running, he could only run a distance of “3 songs” worth, but now, he’s healthy and energetic enough to run 45 minutes, and do sit ups and swim all in a day!
