Since September 2023, Matty Healy has been seen with model Gabbriette Bechtel. This came after he and Taylor Swift broke up in June. Healy, the frontman for The 1975, and Bechtel were spotted getting cozy in New York City, and they’ve since been seen together at various public events, such as Fashion Week and The 1975’s concerts. The exact circumstances of how they met aren’t clear, but Grazia Daily suggests that they might have been introduced by Charli XCX.

Known by her nickname, Gabbriette, she was born in 1997 in California, to a Mexican mother and a German father. Initially interested in ballet, Gabbriette ended up pursuing a career in modeling, working with brands like Diesel, Bottega Veneta, and Skims. Beyond modeling, she was also the lead singer of the punk rock band Nasty Cherry, which was formed by English pop star Charli XCX, who has worked with Healy.
