Neil Diamond & Marcia Murphey: ~ $150 Million Settlement

When musician and singer Neil Diamond and Marcia Murphey, his wife of 25 years, were granted divorce in 1994, he blamed himself for the split and took the responsibility for the demise of his marriage. He was worth $300 million at the time.

Diamond agreed to pay Marcia half of his earnings. Although he never disclosed how much she was paid, he says that it was enough, that would last her for the rest of her life. She may have gotten as much as $150 million, and Diamond says she was worth every penny!
