Ted Danson, the star of the TV shows Cheers and The Good Place is also a Hollywood actor. He met his second wife Casey Coates in 1976 and married her a year later. But, the couple filed for divorce in 1992, after 15 years of marriage.
The reason? His torrid extramarital affair with Sister Act star, Whoopi Goldberg. This affair would have deep repercussions in both their professional and personal lives. Danson had to pay $30 million to Casey, and it was one of the most costliest divorce settlements at the time.
