Steve Carell and Nancy Carell – ~ 24 Years, Laugh at the Same Things
A student and their instructor falling for each other is an old Hollywood trope, but for Foxcatcher star Steve Carell, this is exactly how he met his wife of 24 wonderful years, Nancy. Mrs Carell had enrolled herself in acting classes and Steve was the improv teacher. She used to also work in the bar across the class and Steve started hanging out there just to talk to her.
After many days of beating around the bush — they both were afraid to tell each other how they felt – Steve got over his nervousness and finally asked her out. This worked out great as the couple was married in 1995. Since Nancy also acts, we have spotted her with Steve in his TV show The Office, SNL and Angie Tribeca. So, laughing at home and at work does really keep a couple together, doesn’t it? Steve and Nancy agree.
