When former actress Kate Capshaw beat 100 other actresses to be cast in Steven Spielberg directed movie Temple of Doom in 1984, she thought this would be an opportunity of a lifetime. Little did the single-mom know then that she would also meet the love of her life on set! Now, Steven and Kate have been happily married for 28 years.
The famous Hollywood filmmaker married Kate in 1991, and it has been a happy second marriage for the both of them. With 7 kids added to the brood (some adopted), the Spielberg-Capshaw family is a happy one. Once when a reporter asked Steven what he does, he replied that he is Kate Capshaw’s husband, and thus complimented his wife without singing on about his own accomplishments.
