When The Devil Wears Prada’s Meryl Streep was a young rising star, she was in love with her Deer Hunter co-actor John Cazale, but he died young due to lung cancer. A devastated Streep turned to her brother’s friend, sculptor Don Gummer, for comfort and ended up falling in love with him.
In fact, the Oscar-winning actress stayed with him when filming the movie Kramer vs. Kramer.
