Thirty-six years ago, country star Toby Keith married Tricia Lucus when he was just 22 and she was 21. They had only met two years ago and Lucus already had a daughter from a previous relationship, who was later adopted by Toby. At the time, Toby was far from being the star he is today.
Toby was just a regular worker in the oil fields, but then work started drying up. Looking at the signs, Toby quit and instead worked on his music, which made him one of the wealthiest county musicians ever. He thanks Tricia for her support when he left his job, and if though it was a huge financial strain on the family, she was always there praising his music.
