Bono and Ali Hewson – ~ 37 Years, Just Show Up and Be There

If you thought all world-famous and successful musicians find it difficult to have long and successful marriages, then we present to you U2’s Bono (aka Paul Hewson). Ireland’s most famous singer and his wife of 37 years are making marriage look very easy, but even they admit that all marriages need work.

Bono has had his eyes on Ali ever since they were schoolmates and their first date ended when he dropped her off at the bus stop. A decade later in 1982, when he was 22 and she 21, they got hitched. This was before U2 became a huge rock sensation, and despite their fame, Ali stays out of the limelight, but is with him whenever he needs her.
