Matt Damon and Luciana Barroso – ~ 17 Years, Only Stay Apart for 2 Weeks at Max
Matt Damon, then an upcoming star from the movie Good Will Hunting, was shooting for a movie in a Miami nightclub where the lovely Argentinian-born Luciana Barroso was the bartender. All the talking they did that night led to a fabulous 2005 wedding, and Matt subsequently adopted Luciana’s daughter from her previous marriage.
Life’s good for Mr. Damon, as his career has really taken off and his wife is right by his side. Hollywood A-listers are known to have crazy working hours and are required to travel the globe, but Luciana and Matt have a simple rule in their marriage — the two-week rule. It means that he is not allowed to stay away from his wife and their 3 kids for more than 2 weeks.
