The Waiting Game

Pacing back and forth, Paul couldn’t believe that the day had finally arrived. He was sure that the doctors and nurses would do their level best to ensure that both mother and kids would be fine. After all, he had ready plenty of pregnancy books, blogs and news articles, and probably even taken online classes to prepare himself.

But in real life, he was nervous and wondered why his girlfriend went into early labor, even though they had done everything according to the books. Nevertheless, he just wanted to be beside Barbara again and hold as many of his babies as he could at one go!
