Barbara’s big con was now out in the open and Paul blamed himself for believing everything she ever said to him. She was only doing this to get some money out of it and raise funds for herself, just like she had done earlier. Paul was merely a medium to get her way, even if it meant cheating him.

All the joy, excitement and anticipation was gone as the fake pregnancy had ended it all. Paul felt bad that Barbara, through him, had lied to strangers on the internet and had prayed on their charity to take donations for her fake children, and that was just wrong.
