Facebook to the Rescue
After penning a post explaining his situation, Paul took to the social media website and smartphone application, Facebook and published his story. He even took help from all his friends and family in sharing the post so that it would reach maximum people and more help would pour in.
After reaching out to his business contacts who pledged their help, even the community at large pitched in to help the parents-to-be. They shopped for bottles, caps, a U-Haul worth of clothes, cribs, mattresses, baby carpets and bedding and shared photos of the purchases with all their Facebook contacts.
