However, the medical fraternity agrees that having dogs around a recovering person lifts their mood and makes them happy, and ultimately, helps them want to get batter faster. There are trained therapy dogs who go around hospital wards to make patients feel better, and they’re especially useful for children who are sick and need a mood booster in the form of a cute dog.
