Patiently waiting

If you have trees in your locality the most common of your back porch visitors are squirrels, who live in the trees nearby. They are most likely harmless, but do steal from bird feeders that you may have installed in your backyard. And cats and dogs usually like chasing them if they get too close, and cats even chase them up trees and cannot climb back down! So usually, pet owners avoid feeding these squirrels, in the hopes that they will not come to their backyard. However, if this squirrel comes to your backdoor and begs quietly for some food, would you have the heart to turn him down? We just couldn’t!
