Animals grieve, too
Wiley is a wolfdog who became famous in 2013, when his owner, Sarah, posted a YouTube video of him lying on her grandmother’s grave and he appears to be crying loudly. Sarah runs a Warriors and Wolves program which trains therapy wolf-dogs to help military veterans who return home from war with PTDS. So naturally, Wiley is more empathetic and also, really misses Sarah’s grandmother. There are many other stories of dogs who have visited their humans’ grave and grieved. It’s just so heart breaking.
