Dogs are perhaps the best kind of friends that a human can have. And yet, they were domesticated and bred by early humans for very different reasons. They were bred for protection, for hunting, for retrieving, and for so much more. So, when you raise a Labrador retriever, who was essentially bred to retrieve prey after a hunt, and you play fetch with them, then expect the unexpected! This pooch went to get fetch his owner’s ball back, but instead, came back with a potato, hopefully not stolen from someone!
