Things Go Very Wrong

Paul waited for the doctor or nurse to give him some news. Minutes went by but nobody appeared or came to speak to Paul. He had so many questions for them and just wanted to know if everything was fine inside.

Minutes seemed like hours and now Paul was genuinely worried. The books all said the same thing — “stay clam” and so he tried. His family and friends were also getting antsy when they heard a door open and footsteps approaching. It was then that he was given some devastating news.
