Jerry Lawler Gets Physical with Andy Kaufman

Wrestler Jerry Lawler and actor and wrestler Andy Kaufman were invited as guests on David Letterman’s show, and things were tense from the start. It looked like the two did not like each other, as Kaufman was wearing a neck brace thanks to Lawler who injured his neck during a wrestling match. Kaufman asked Lawler to apologize, but he just mocked him and even slapped him, making Kaufman fall off his chair. Then Kaufman retaliated by throwing coffee at Lawler and going on a verbal tirade. We still don’t know if this was an act or not, but it sure was entertaining!
