The United States spends $601 billion on defense which is more than the previous 9 countries defense budget combined, despite recent budget reductions. The ten aircraft carriers in the US navy are the country’s greatest military advantage. In addition, the US possesses the biggest nuclear arsenal in the world, by far the most aircrafts of any nation, state-of-the-art equipment like the Navy’s novel rail gun, a sizable and well-trained labour force, and that’s just to name a few. They currently have 1,400,000 active frontline personnel.
