Annie Lennox

Annie is a singer-songwriter from Scotland who is also a philanthropist and political activist. While in the 70s, she achieved moderate success, but it was in the 80s that she became an international sensation, as a part of the British pop duo Eurythmics. It was during this time that Annie became known for her grunge makeup look and funky hairstyles. But, as she aged, she got rid of the old look, and went for short hair, and a zero make-up look. This could have been done to change with the times, and for the want to be taken seriously.
