We understand your confusion, because we were as confused as you when we first saw this picture. But, this game is called ‘sepak takraw’ or kick volleyball, which originated in Malaysia some 500 years ago! Think standard volleyball, but with your feet, chest, head or knees! So obviously, to kick the ball in the opposing team’s side, you will need to strike some odd poses in the air, and not miss kicking the ball to them. This is one of many such sepak takraw photos in existence, and honestly, they look like an action sequence from a kung-fu movie gone wrong, as the landing must hurt!
