Kenny Chesney: ~ $7.9 Million, St. John Island, The Virgin Islands

In 2012, Country music legend Kenny Chesney had listed his 7 bedroom, 7 bathroom luxury Caribbean home and was asking $7.9 million for it. But, it seems that he changed his mind later and held on to it. Unfortunately for Kenny, Hurricane Irma ravaged the Virgin Islands in 2017 and virtually nothing was left of his home which was basically flattened, save 1 or 2 structures.

While Kenny was not on site when the hurricane hit, there were 17 people there including friends, neighbors and staff. They escaped unhurt by hiding in the home’s sturdy closets! We’re sure Kenny had home insurance, and like a good guy, he helped raise money for those effected by the natural disaster.
