We wonder why Mad Max: Fury Road and Monster star Charlize Theron was in such a hurry to sell her 2,350-square-foot penthouse in the centre of Hollywood, that she even took a $1 million loss for it. Oh, we’re sure Theron’s sizable bank account can manage to take that punch!
The condo, which was originally bought for $2.75 million in 2007, has just one bedroom, 2 bathrooms, loft-style open floor plan, exposed beams, plus a floating steel staircase and exposed AC vent adds an “industrial” look to the glamorous furnishings. The building was restored in the 2000s, and was actually built in 1927 to be a department store. That explains the large sweeping rooms!
