Rowan Atkinson: ~ £10 Million, Oxfordshire, England

Neighbors watched in horror as Mr Bean star Rowan Atkinson bought the 1930s-built Handsmooth House and it’s 16 acres of land in 2006 for £2.6 million and razed it to the ground! Instead of renovating the original house, as the townsfolk has presumed, he built a modernist home, which the locals have dubbed a “space age petrol station.”

With a lot of glass and steel used, the pad does look very futuristic and quirky. It boats an atrium-style lounge, huge garage for motorhead Rowan, solar panels, a two-floor guest wing, Japanese-style garden, tennis courts and a few horse stables. Atkinson originally built the home for his wife, but after their divorce, he lives here with his girlfriend and their child.
