Kirk Douglas: ~ $3.5 Million, Palm Springs
Kirk Douglas, the late Spartacus actor and father of Basic Instinct star Michael Douglas, lived in this 4,000 square foot home for more than 42 years with his family, but finally called the movers and sold off the home for a neat $3.5 Million. The glass-walled façade of the 5 bedroom home is more contemporary than futuristic architecture, since it is a Donald Wexler home.
The new owners get to enjoy the home’s beamed ceilings, breakfast bar, fireplace, wet bar, manicured grounds, and large pool. There is also a tennis court with its own pavilion that sports vintage posters of Kirk’s movies. Oh and another fun fact! The mansion backs up to a property that belongs to actor Leonardo DiCaprio.
