One of the final Golden Age of Hollywood actors still alive is said to be Ann Blyth. She was born in New York in 1928, and she made her Broadway debut in the early 1940s. She received an Oscar nomination for her breakthrough performance in the 1945 film Mildred Pierce at the age of 16! She has crossed paths with stars like Gregory Peck, Robert Montgomery, and Bing Crosby. Her notable film roles include those in The Helen Morgan Story, Kismet, and Brute Force. She made the decision to give up acting a few years after getting married to a doctor in 1953 so she could devote her time to raising her five kids.
