Kathryn Beaumont – Born in 1938
When Kathryn Beaumont was selected to voice Alice in the Disney animated adaptation of Alice in Wonderland in 1951, she was just 10 years old. This would become her debut in show business. Following that, in 1953, she played the role of Wendy Darling in the movie Peter Pan, because of which she was recognized as a Disney Legend in 1998. She seemed to be doing well in Hollywood but she left her acting and voiceover work early on to attend high school and college, after which she decided to become a teacher.
