Marla Gibbs – Born in 1931
Marla Gibbs, a well-known performer from the 1970s, rose to recognition relatively late in life because to her portrayal of Florence Johnston in the comedy The Jeffersons. Marla has since amassed an impressive corpus of work. Following that, she went on to appear in and create the NBC comedy 227, which aired from 1985 to 1990 and made Regina King and Jackée Harry famous. Gibbs has made several film and television appearances and is currently 91 years old and remains active in the entertainment industry. She has a recurring role in the venerable soap opera Days of Our Lives since 2021.
