The movie that really brought Australia to the attention of the world was Crocodile Dundee, and whether or not that portrayal of the character was fully realistic is a separate discussion. Hogan has led a very eventful life, among a sensational divorce and tax fraud allegations. However, he gave up acting once Hollywood typecast him. The Australian national still resides in the United States with his son Chance in California, but he claims to be having health problems and has had a pacemaker installed.
