Tommy Steele – Born in 1936

Sir Thomas Hicks, better known as English singer and musician Tommy Steele, is regarded as Britain’s first and foremost teen star and rock ‘n roll idol. The ‘Singing the Blues’ hitmaker has also been a songwriter, sculptor and author. Even though he is in his late 80s, he continues to perform today. Steele was also knighted in 2020 for his service to charity and entertainment. While he kept his personal life a secret all his life, we know that he is happily married to Ann Donoghue since 1960.
