Marina Prior – Born in 1963
Australia’s queen of musical theatre, is what Marina Prior is referred to, given her significant contribution to the field for more than 3 decades now. And it all started after she answered an advertisement, calling for open auditions for a production of Pirates of Penzance. Years later, the beautiful lady would be commanding the stage and has graced famous theatre venues all over Australia and internationally. The Papua New Guinean-born soprano and actress played the original role of Christine Daaé in The Phantom of the Opera, sharing the stage with greats such as Anthony Warlow and later, Rob Guest. She continues to act, sing and perform today.
