Drew Carey – U.S. Marine Corps

In the ’80s, comedian Drew Carey offered his services to the Marine Corps. Carey served for six years with the Marines, and during that time, he would perform stand-up comedy. He was a field operator primarily, and later, Carey would admit that the experience instilled in him a strong sense of discipline and work ethic.

Around 1983, Carey moved to Vegas, where he held jobs as a bank teller, and he even worked at Denny’s as a waiter. These days Carey is either busy hosting The Price is Right or scheduled events in honor of veterans.
