Charles Bronson – U.S Air Force
We sadly lost Charles Bronson in 2003 at the age of 81 to pneumonia. Bronson remains in our memories from the Family Cops series of movies and House of Wax. Before kickstarting his showbiz career, Bronson served during World War II as part of the U.S. Air Force.
He enlisted in 1953 and became part of the 760th Flexible Gurney Training Squadron. Bronson was able to serve in Guam as the 61st Bombardment Squadron’s aerial gunner. He received the Purple Heart recognizing that he got injured in the line of duty.
