Adam Driver – U.S. Marines
The September 11 attacks were amongst the gravest moments in American history, and in response, Adam Driver joined the Marines. He served with the Weapons Company as part of the 1st Battalion 1st Marines infantry battalion.
About 30 months into his service, Driver fractured his sternum on a mountain biking trip. He received a medical discharge while he was a Lance Corporal. He attended the University of Indianapolis and then made it into Julliard after auditioning a second time. J. Edgar marked his film debut in 2011, but it was his role in the comedy-drama Girls that served as his breakthrough.
