Ice-T – U.S. Army
Tracy Lauren Marrow is better known as Ice-T, which is his stage name. Marrow has found success as a rapper, record producer, author, and actor. He enlisted in 1977. For 26 months, he was part of the 25th Infantry Division.
Marrow’s troubled past would follow him during his time in the army, but a good thing to come out of his was his interest in hip hop music. Marrow was discharged in 1979, and he later admitted to being involved in a series of felonies. Fortunately, he got on the straight and narrow, and he’s been on Law & Order: SVU since 2000.
