Bill & Melinda Gates: ~ $73 Billion Settlement

Although they did not have a prenuptial agreement at the time of their 2021 divorce, Microsoft founder Bill Gates and his wife Melinda signed a private separation agreement, ending their 27-year marriage. As they worked together, the separation of their assets was tricky.

Besides splitting up their many properties, they also had to figure out the future of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, which is one of the biggest non-profits in the world, spending $5 billion every year. If their assets were to be split equally, Melinda would get $73 billion.
