Steve & Elaine Wynn: ~ $1 Billion Settlement
The Wynns are well known as the family behind the Mirage and Wynn resorts in Las Vegas, with their co-founders being casino bigwigs Steve and Elaine Wynn. They first met while they were studying together in college and were married twice from 1963 to 1986 and again from 1991 until 2010.
That second divorce settlement saw Elaine get $1 billion from her former husband which was inclusive of $955 million Wynn Resorts stocks. Both of them continued to work at the company after the divorce, and we hope it wasn’t awkward!
