Movies are the reason why Grease and Face/Off actor John Travolta is married to actress Kelly Preston of Jerry Maguire fame. That’s because she met John at the screen test of the movie The Experts in 1989, while she was still “unhappily” married to her first husband, actor Kevin Gage. Preston has previously lived with George Clooney and was engaged to Charlie Sheen, but John proved to be the right one for her.

But in 1991, when she was pregnant with Travolta’s son, the two got secretly married in Paris. They would go on to have three kids, but unfortunately, their eldest son Jett died when they were holidaying in the Bahamas. John and Kelly were able to support each other through this rough time and emerged a stronger couple.
