Where Ships Go To Die
There’s a ship graveyard which lies right next to Staten Island in New York. Ships that were damaged during the Second World War were brought here to the Arthur Kill Boat Graveyard before they were broken up and sold for scrap. But there are plenty of ships that were never broken down, as the project was eventually abandoned. It has become quite the offbeat tourist destination, especially people who like to visit abandoned places. The drone shots however, are partly eerie and partly breath-taking.
