Jon Voight – Born in 1938
Jon began his acting career on television before moving on to film and eventually enjoyed success in both mediums. Besides his 1969 Oscar-nominated performance in Midnight Cowboy, he went on to feature in some of the most significant movies produced by the New Hollywood of the 70s, including Deliverance and Catch-22. He appeared in the movies Mission: Impossible, Anaconda, and Pearl Harbor more recently. Despite some negative news surrounding his estrangement with daughter Angelina Jolie and his political stances, Voight remained one of his generation’s most well-liked performers.
