Alan Alda – U.S. Army Reserve

If you’ve watched Alan Alda on M*A*S*H as Hawkeye Pierce, then you’ll agree that he might have borrowed inspiration from his days in the army. Alda attended the Fordham College, and in his junior year, he ended up in Paris.

He had the opportunity to grace the stage alongside his old man, Robert Alda, around the time. After graduating, he enlisted and spent six months with the U.S. Army Reserve in Korea after his initial year serving at Fort Benning. At 84, Alda is still active in the entertainment industry.
