Bob Barker – U.S. Navy
Before Drew Carey started hosting The Price Is Right in 2007, Bob Baker held the position since 1972. He wasn’t always a game show host, and his career started with the U.S Navy. Baker was an aerial combat specialist, and he particularly excelled at night-time flying.
After the Second World War, Baker went back to Drury College (now known as Drury University), and he graduated with an economics degree. He started his broadcasting career on the radio before eventually starting his hosting career with Consequences. Baker also hosted Simon Says, in 1971.
